Our client is seeking a hands‑on, forward‑thinking Director of Software Engineering to lead software engineering strategy and execution within a high‑growth, technology‑driven environment. This role will play a key part in shaping modern engineering practices, driving innovation through AI and automation, and building scalable, secure systems.

Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high‑performing systems

Promote secure and compliant development practices across the organization Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, including managing managers and fostering a high‑performance culture What We’re Looking For 10+ years of experience in software engineering 7+ years of leadership experience, including managing multiple teams or managers
Define and execute an engineering strategy aligned with broader business objectives
Manage and reduce technical debt while maintaining long‑term platform health

Drive adoption of modern technologies, including AI‑driven development, automation, and cloud‑native architectures
Establish and track key performance metrics across engineering (velocity, quality, reliability)
Implement best practices to improve delivery speed, code quality, and system reliability
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high‑performing systems
