About Jefferies Secondary Advisory Jefferies Secondary Advisory is one of the market's leading and fastest‑growing advisors to financial sponsors and institutional investors seeking strategic liquidity solutions in the private markets. Our team partners with venture capital and growth equity firms to design and execute GP‑led secondary transactions that optimize portfolio management, extend duration for high‑conviction assets, and support value creation across the growth and innovation ecosystem.

We also advise institutional limited partners---including sovereign wealth funds, pensions, endowments, foundations, family offices, and other major allocators---on the sale and active management of portfolios of limited partnership interests across venture capital, growth equity, and other alternative strategies. Secondary Advisory -- Global Snapshot (2026)

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of GP‑led secondary transactions across the growth equity and venture ecosystems, including continuation vehicles, strip sales, tender offers, structured secondaries, and NAV‑based solutions
  • Build and maintain financial models, asset‑level projections, valuation analyses, and sensitivity cases under the guidance of senior team members
  • Support day‑to‑day interactions with venture capital and growth equity sponsors, portfolio company management teams, and investors
  • Client & Investor Support
  • Assist in the preparation and refinement of core transaction materials, including process letters, management presentations, teaser decks, and investor diligence materials
  • Help coordinate diligence efforts with portfolio companies, fund finance teams, legal counsel, and third‑party advisors, ensuring timely and accurate information flow
  • Assist with investor outreach processes, including buyer targeting analysis, tracking outreach progress, and managing inbound questions

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1 years of relevant experience in investment banking, valuation advisory, consulting, VC/growth equity, secondaries, or a similarly analytical environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and perform under tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ownership mindset, attention to detail, and analytical curiosity
  • exposure to high‑growth companies preferred
  • Familiarity with venture and growth equity ecosystems, including fund structures, portfolio construction, and company‑level operating metrics
  • Ability to work professionally with senior team members, clients, founders, and investors
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
