Alamo had just the vehicle I needed, when I needed it on short notice. Pick up & return we're pretty seamless. They told me to walk around the vehicle & inspect before i leave. There was a scuff in the paint. I didn't want to be held accountable for it, so i went back inside to show them pics. They came out & looked with me & said that wasn't considered problematic. Next time I'll know. This mids size SUV was comfortable, with plenty of room for my luggage & I got good gas mileage. Overall a great experience. Pic was the prior damage that concerned me.

I’ve been bringing my two kitties there for About a year, and the service is always been excellent, and when budget was of concern, even though I love my cat, they were very respectful of that and we were able to work with the constraints. She is at home now and Hopefully will continue to improve. We are greatly appreciative of all their efforts, and the resources they gave us going forward.

Of all the vets I’ve gone to, Dr McGinty is the one I have felt the most confident with. I started with him when I got my rabbit but now he sees all of my pets. The prices are also very reasonable for Cedar Rapids. There are cheaper ones in the area but they are a 45 minute drive so it’s nice to have someone close that I trust and who isn’t also way overcharging for services.

Had a spot on my dog Willow I needed looked at, and not only was I able to be seen quickly, (day and time wise) but the staff there (especially Hailey) were absolutely wonderful. Willow has as much anxiety as I do unfortunately (a lot) and they were so kind and patient with both her and myself.

My dogs and I absolutely love VCA Edgewood. The vets are knowledgeable and the kind of vets that you can tell really love and care for animals. The techs and assistants are equally as kind and knowledgeable. They can almost always get my pets seen the same day when something comes up. They don’t push for unnecessary tests or scans, only suggest them when needed and they always give options. The receptionists are always kind on the phone and in person. All around the people who work here are animal people and that means a lot to us. We love VCA!

We are new arrivals to CID and my little 7 pound terrier started to show signs of blindness. We’ve been over to CR animal Hospital three times now and the care has been outstanding; we’ve never once sat down in the waiting room as there’s always a patient room ready, Drs. Roa and Stout have been wonderful and sensitive while I was losing my mind with the notion that my 13-year-old is losing his sight to glaucoma.
Special shout out to the techs who are fantastic and efficient and take such good care of my guy!
Finally, thank you to Doctor Amanda Stout for talking me off the ledge as I faced this new reality. My little guy is doing really well and we might even be getting some sight back.
When you move to a new town, there’s nothing more important than finding a great Vet and we did with this team. I haven’t even looked for a doctor for myself yet! Who cares - get me a good vet first and foremost :)

I got my Dio when he was 6 months old from a rough home. I spent years working with him on his anxiety and aggression. He was just a big lover boy under his trauma and he was my world. I spent 4, almost 5 amazing and loving years with him. The employees at Blue Pearl made sure I was comfortable and I was given every option for my situation. I really appreciate the help I received and the way they handled my situation with grace. Dr. Goodman is a wonderful human being, he was supportive and kind through the entire process, when it came time to decide to let my baby boy go, he talked me through every step and made sure I was given the time I needed with my cat. I will forever be grateful to the amazing employees at this vet hospital, they helped me let my boy go with dignity and love. Thank you everyone for everything, that day was very difficult for me and the grief is even more difficult, but to know my baby got to go in my arms peacefully, that will always bring me peace. I recommend
