LD ALTERATIONS LLC

I went to LD in early January when I first started my 12-week long wedding planning extravaganza. I brought in my Grandma’s dress that she had preserved after her wedding in 1960, and I crossed my fingers that LD would be able to work her magic that I read about in other reviews, because the dress was waaay too small for me. I couldn’t even get it zipped up when I first brought it in (see first photo)! Within 3 weeks, for a very reasonable price, she managed to make it bigger using fabric from detached sleeves that came with the dress, and without needing to add a corset back. When I tried on the dress again, it zipped up! Cue the excitement!!! I appreciated her step-by-step method of altering the dress; rather than immediately adding a corset back and changing the entire look from the original, she only made small, necessary adjustments and asked me to come back in to see if anything else needed to be done before she made bigger changes. I’ve always struggled to find suits that fit me well since I’m tall and slim, but LD Alterations completely changed that. Amazing!! I decided I wasn’t super happy with my dress at the second/last fitting because I wanted it to be more form fitting than just taking it in at the waist. It was about a month before my wedding and the owner (I can’t remember her name!!) literally took every single button off and took in my entire dress - boddess down to the bottom of the zipper (my knees) - and it was perfect. I felt awful and she was so sweet about it and wanted to make sure I loved it and felt good in it. She had also mentioned in passing at my first fitting that she had a bride come in right before me who was around my size (a 2-ish) that accidentally ordered like an XXXL dress and her wedding was that upcoming weekend and the owner had been working all day and planned to work the whole week to get it fixed for her - showed her dedication! She’s wonderful and highly recommend her! Amazing!! She’s literally THE best ever! She did my wedding dress and I can’t tell you how amazing she made it! She was super attentive and got me my alterations back in less than a week. Sept 2024! I got married. I wouldn’t have been able to fit my dress this good if it wasn’t for LD ALTERATIONS LLC! She does Amazing work! I’m only 5,2 we had to cut a lot off. Also she worked on my waste brining it in and the arm sleeves . She also added three buttons on the back. My daughter had her dress done and two other bridesmaids. LD Alterations came highly recommended by several people. I had my wedding dress altered for my August 2025 wedding and my maid of honor, my groom, and all four groomsmen had their outfits altered by LD Alterations for the wedding! LD Alterations did a fantastic job and the prices are incredibly reasonable. If you need alterations on wedding dresses, men's suits, formal dresses, or everyday clothing this is the place to go. They do it all. When I received my wedding dress from the bridal shop it was massive on me and did not fit at all. Mina took extra care to ensure the dress fit me like a glove! She worked quickly but with careful expertise. She did a bustle for the dress' train and it was done so perfectly! The dress looked gorgeous for the reception and it truly exceeded my expectations.
