A-1 Plumbing Heating Cooling Electrical

Our HWH gave up it’s ghost Sunday. Since we moved to Lawrence 3 years ago, I hadn’t yet found a plumbing/Heating/Cooling company I trusted yet. 2 other experiences with other companies left us disappointed. A1 called me back first thing Monday morning and was out that afternoon. We agreed to the installation Tuesday morning. Steffan showed up at the time promised, and got right to work. The job was more complicated than anticipated but Steffan communicated well. First, he explained his bid thoroughly. When space to fit the new equipment became an issue, we discussed 3 options (without causing additional expense) and agreed upon a plan. The final cost was reasonable (all things considered) and I finally found a company I won’t hesitate to call back next time I need help. I am very satisfied with our service yesterday. My furnace stopped working and Ryan came out to help. My wife expressed to me how kind and helpful he was to her. He explained the problem, and he had it fixed in less than 1/2 hour. He also explained how to keep it running efficiently. The final cost was also a blessing. I thought that it might be about two or three hundred dollars but it was less than two hundred. I would highly recommend you to others. Our furnace broke the night before the Jan 24 snowstorm and polar vortex. We called before business hours and left a message. They promptly returned our call as soon as they opened. They had someone out to us within an hour. The first technician was quick to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately, we needed a new furnace; however, they gave us many different options and were up front about the pros and cons of each. They listened to our concerns and gave us an estimate. They respected our property and worked without any fuss. The final cost was the exact estimate. I hated the unexpected and necessary cost, but their professional attitude made it bearable. I am always concerned about safety when we need work done at my 89 yr old mother’s house and try to have another person there with her. I really appreciated the text from A1 prior to arrival that included the serviceman’s name his picture! And Steve was wonderful! He was very courteous and respectful to my mom. Fixed the issue quickly and explained to her what was going on with her furnace. He cleaned up after himself and was just plain terrific. The cost was also extremely reasonable. Highly recommend!!! Dominic did a great job. Very personable and professional. Explained things very well. Here on time and fixed our shower problem quickly. It wasn't easy but Dominic knew what to do. We were thoroughly impressed with the bargaining and negotiating piece leading to our purchase. We are very happy with A-1 for our furnace replacement! Steve was very friendly and informative, but never pushy (which is huge in my book!) Shawn and his apprentice were right on time the very next morning to install our new furnace, since we had no heat! They were both very professional and did a great job. I will call A-1 going forward and highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC needs! We are very happy with A-1 for our furnace replacement!
