About this role

Our client is a large, well-funded Private Equity/Real Estate Investment Fund seeking a VP/SVP with a track record in direct real estate investments in the Southeast. The selected individual will be responsible for acquisitions/investments for the firm's commercial real estate portfolio.

Primary strategies include office, industrial, logistics, data centers, and mixed-use assets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
  • Identify market trends and translate insights into actionable investment strategies
  • Prepare Investment/Offering Memorandums for Investment Committee and Partners
  • Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to manage deal execution processes from sourcing to closing
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to support business expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs
  • Lead office/industrial underwriting/M&A activities in the southeast US region
  • Utilize industry relationships to procure desired assets in target regions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex issues effectively
  • Proven track record of managing and developing young Analysts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • CFA/MBA strongly preferred
  • 7 years of professional experience in commercial Real Estate Acquisitions
  • Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
  • High interest in economic and financial market trends
  • Top Academic pedigree required
