Oh my goodness, such an experience. Brought a joy to my heart that I haven't felt in years. I was sure the beautiful creatures were going to be great, but the volunteers really make this place even more amazing! This really is a top-notch exhibit for the money. I really expected it to be much less, but I was pleasantly surprised to see all the Care and time taken with each one of the animals and also how well it is displayed. We had my son's birthday party here. The staff are friendly, patient, and helpful. The kids loved having "close encounters" and petting and holding a ton of animals. They loved feeding the turtles. Held my daughter's 6th birthday party there. Zach, Amy, Kayden, and Haven were very helpful and attentive to our kindergarten guests. The kids had a blast; all of the parents gushed about how much their kids loved the experience. They especially loved feeding and interacting with some of the animals. We had the human food and presents in the party room which is so charming! It's painted like a rain forest and makes the perfect backdrop for a zoo-themed party. My children love reptiles, which is a high percentage of this place. It is pretty small, but the kids went around the circle about 5 times and really enjoyed getting to feed the animals. This was a true gem of a place, located in a simple mall. Lots of interesting animals to see, with displays showing information about each one. One favorite exhibit was the tortoises, where you’re allowed to touch their shells. Another favorite was a nice turtle and fish pond. Many of the animals will approach you when you come close. This is likely because several of the exhibits allow you to feed the animals with the zoo’s food. Just happened to be in town and saw this little mall zoo and decided to pop in with my daughters. I had pretty low expectations for a zoo in a mall but we were absolutely blown away. So many large and interesting critters, that you can ACTUALLY see and interact with. Girls were able to feed fish, an amazing variety of Turtles and tortoises 🐢 and Willow the porcupine. One of the staff had a young alligator out for the kids to feel. Everyone on staff was super friendly and forthcoming with facts about the animals. We just left and this place was incredible. All the staff was very friendly, informative, and knowledgeable. My kids got to feed a lot of different animals and the prices are very reasonable for the feed. My kids even got porcupine quills to take home. They even have a play area for small children. And an adoption wall if you are looking to rehome a new family friend. My children love it and can't stop talking about it. Thank you! We just left and this place was incredible.
