Sun King is a pretty cool brewery to visit. It wasn’t too busy when I visited, but it was spacious and struck me as being great for encouraging a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and I was served right away at the bar. My flight of beers was delicious and they have an extensive beer list. This is definitely one of the bigger breweries in the area, and it doesn’t disappoint.

I tried a flight of the beers here to get an idea of what the brewery is like. My impression is good. The staff and other customers were friendly, and it seemed like a welcoming place. I liked the industrial decor too. The beers were good, and I didn’t encounter any off flavors. The Centerpoint Black was probably my favorite, and they even decorated it with a marshmallow. This seems like a good place to hang out. I’d have no issues coming back.

Metazoa is a pretty neat brewery. It’s definitely dog-friendly, and that makes sense given their donations to animal-related charities. So that’s pretty cool on its own, but the space is pretty nice too. It’s a tad industrial feeling, but it’s quite comfortable and the staff are friendly. The beers in my flight were good, but Trash Panda remains my favorite of their brews that I’ve tried. This brewery must be especially good during the warmer months when they can open up more. It’s definitely worth a try as one of Indianapolis’ bigger breweries.

Guggman made a good impression on me when I visited. The staff was very pleasant, and the place was quite comfortable. It felt warm and welcoming. The beers I tried in my flight were excellent. I didn’t notice any off flavors, and it seemed like they’re crafting some well balanced beers. The Guggenweizen was probably my favorite. This would definitely be one of the breweries I’d most recommend in the Indy area.

I stopped by this brewery while it was fairly quiet, but I enjoyed my time there. The staff seemed professional, and the bar was pleasant to sit at. The beers were good, and of mostly traditional styles. It’s quite a nice place to while away some time. The reuse of the church makes for a very scenic setting. It’s definitely a good place to meet up with friends, and I’d visit again if I’m in Indianapolis again.

The staff seems to be a big family, also with a bar next door. Matt recommended their ginger beer - which was a spot on!
Matt also told me he was an ancient founder of @BikePartyIndianapolis (in Facebook or Insta). They still have monthly rides and next one in 6 days!

The service department here is top notch. They performed a warranty repair for me and kept me updated on issues through the whole replacement. I have had tires installed here in the past. The mechanics were quick, and helped me select a set when the ones I wanted were out of stock. BGI is very supportive of the Indy bicycling community, so that is an added bonus on to of their great mechanics and service.

Indy Cycle Specialists is by far the best bike shop I’ve ever come across. I bought my beginner Giant Liv there five or six years back and when it was time to upgrade last summer, there was no question that Scott (the owner) would have the best options for the bike that would meet my needs.
They do repairs, and the have great accessories for any adventure. But the best part about ICS is hands down the people who work there.
I would recommend them to any one any time.
