When it came time for us to take on a huge renovation of our home we looked for a contractor with three primary considerations in mind. First and most importantly was a reputation for exceptional quality. Second, we wanted a company that provided turn-key services. And finally, they had to have the same vision and design aesthetic as us. We found such a partner in Emergent and we are so happy with our decision. Every single Emergent associate was top notch and a pleasure to work with throughout the six months of construction. This also goes for all of their sub-contractors. As client’s, we had a very clear vision and high expectations and they were on top of it if there was ever an issue or we suggested a change. Renovations can be daunting but Emergent maintained good communication throughout, and the project management database they used helped tremendously with messaging, schedule transparency and financial management. Eric was our sales guy. He was very knowledgeable and went above our expectations. He was't pushy and worked with us around every corner. He was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions that arrived.
James and Nathan were our installers and made quick work to finish our windows in 1 day. Nate got held up in route by traffic, and James made quick work to prep the windows for when he arrived. While prepping James informed us of the process and what was to be expected. He even went through and made sure anything around the windows was hung sturdy so nothing would end up broken during the process. Its was a little windy during install so he went the extra mile to lay tarps in the house to prevent a lot of loose debris. Once Nate arrived they showed great teamwork and swiftly got the job done! He provided us with valuable information about our roof that we were previously unaware of, and his honest, straightforward approach was refreshing.

I had a great experience using Ace Handyman Services. The process in getting a quote to having someone come out was pretty seamless. Andrew was my Handyman and he did a fantastic job of installing 2 cat doors. He was quick, professional and personable. He also patched a hole I had in my wall from an old alarm system. The only reason I'm taking one star away is due to being charged two $70 service charges because during the initial appointment we decided to take a different approach to installing the door, so I had to reschedule so I could get different doors. I had no idea that the 15 mins we spent determining that another option would be best and rescheduling for less than a week later would turn into a separate service charge. I would've like to have known that before agreeing to reschedule.
