Out-of-towner leaving that day had an inflammation on my lip. Granted, it was a Saturday morning at 7:30 and there could've been 1000 people or no people. The gods opted for the latter. Barely in the door and two women, both nurses I hoped, took me into an examining room, we did the whole patient sign in, blah blah blah, and one of the nurses left. I felt as though Miki (?) and I had know each other for ever. She was simply wonderful. (This is only an observation)...she has the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen. I knew it wasn't an emergency per se, but she was so good with everything and the best part I wasn't treated like a child. The worst thing anyone can do is talk down to people.
The attending physician, initials D.D., who did residency in Phoenix was the same. They did a little snipping, a little cutting, a lot of packing and in about an hour I was out the door. It's good to know that Olathe, KS has my back, or lip, if i need it next time I am there.
