I inherited a 2001 Buick Park Avenue with very low miles that was kept on a charger but hadn’t been driven in a while. When I checked it out, the blinker wasn’t operating properly along with the brake light and parking light. This was right around Christmas time. Called Oades and they were very honest about the wait time. We have other vehicles so, no problem. While the car was with them, Alicia was who I worked with. She was fantastic with giving me updates and letting me know what was going on. The issue turned out to be a little more in depth and in order to get to the root of the problem, labor was intense. I actually work somewhere that I am able to check labor times. Not that I thought they were lying, it was just a lot of work! The great hardworking people at Oades are honest, friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. As stated before, we have other vehicles, we will definitely be servicing them here. I am a DIY wannabe mechanic, always trying to keep our family's four older cars going without breaking the bank. I was in a bind and needed professional help as one of my attempts to repair my 2008 Mazda looked like it had gone bad. The folks at Sallas were gracious, answered all my questions and gave me a few pointers before bringing it in. Once there, they all treated me like an old friend and continued to answer all my anxious questions, promptly got to work and was done by the middle of the day. As I drove the car home, I was incredibly happy with with the evaluation and work they performed. I wanted to leave a great review for this mechanic shop because the service was outstanding. Robert, in particular, really helped me out and went above and beyond. He took the time to explain everything clearly, was honest about what actually needed to be fixed, and made the whole process stress-free. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping customers rather than just making a sale. The work was done efficiently, professionally, and at a fair price. It’s a family owned shop and the owners are there every day in the front office, helping customers. They will be friendly, helpful and keep your car maintained at a fair price.
I’ve been taking my truck here for service for 5+ years now. It’s been a great experience. I have an older, but low miles and great condition Tundra, and they guide me through what is important to keep it in good condition. I appreciate these guys, honestly, it’s such a relief to find a good shop with fair prices where you just don’t have to worry or second guess what they say (unlike dealers…).
Be aware that they are a very popular shop because people around here know they’re trustworthy, so call a few weeks ahead of needing scheduled maintenance. I assume they are able to fit in more urgent services, but haven’t been in that situation, so just call and check and I’m sure they’ll be

A great small business! I cannot say enough great things about the owner David. He opened the shop and hosted our Cub Scout den on his day off and gave them a private course in auto maintenance. He made it fun, educational, and hands on! This is the type of person and business that I am proud to support - one who cares about his community and is willing to give back.
