I took my mom there who has sewn for over 80 years - she could have spent all day there. We took my daughter who has been sewing about 14 years and she also could have spent the day there. Very clean and thoughtfully planned. So many classes available and very helpful staff for all levels of experience. Beautiful fabrics and options for all budgets.

I went to Sew Jersey for their long arm quilting services. I had tried emailing first (no response) but ended up going to the store in person. It’s a nice little shop with a good assortment of sewing related items and about half was set up as a sewing classroom. The staff were knowledgeable, communicated clearly, and willing to help when I arrived. My small quilt got free form quilting done and my large one got a standard long arm quilting pattern sewn onto it. I knew it would take awhile and after dropping my quilts off they were ready for pickup about 3 months later so plan accordingly. I’m not that close for regular shopping but I’m glad they’re within driving distance for their quilting services. I would recommend this shop!

I just stopped here to pickup some fabric for an interior wall covering project. The staff was incredibly helpful. I had no clue what I was looking for and they really helped me figure out exactly what I needed. They gave me a discount for buying in bulk which was really nice because I would have happily paid full price and didn't ask for a discount. I will absolutely come back to this store if I have any additional projects that I need fabric for. I don't know much about sewing or fabric but I do know about customer service and this place has incredible customer service. Thanks again!

Blue Hen Quilt Shop is lovely in every aspect. The staff members are very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to share their experience. Fantastic fabrics! Everything in the shop is very high quality.The classes & instructors are truly outstanding! Classes are held in a well-lit room at one end of their shop (which prevents shoppers from accidentally entering), with comfortable workstations (tables & chairs), and great climate control.I highly recommend Blue Hen Quilt Shop!

She altered my daughter and my dresses for my brothers wedding that I was apart of and it was impeccable. Her attention to detail and sizing and cuts made the dress fit PERFECTLY.

She never disappoints!!I needed my bridesmaid dress altered for a wedding I was in. I’m no expert, but I knew that hemming my dress takes a lot of time, but more importantly, skill. I went straight to Brick City Stitch because I knew Rashidah had the skills to make this happen! Being quite short, there was quite a bit of material that needed to be altered. My dress also had horse hair at the bottom with very fine stitching. I didn’t give Rashidah much time, but she diligently worked to meet my deadline. When I tried on my dress, the length was perfect! I absolutely loved how the dress fit me overall. She even attached plastic guards on the straps of my dress so that they would not fall off my shoulders! I appreciated how she handled my dress with care.
