Such a warm cozy place to get a book! My husband and I recently cancelled our Amazon Prime membership in an effort to support local businesses and I'm already so glad we did! Had we not, we wouldn't have stumbled across this gem. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I found everything I was hoping for and even added a few more books to my reading list. I really dislike big chain barbershops because its quantity over quality and knucklehead is hands down quailty over quantity.

It was my First time in here today and immediately me and my son were greeted by such a friendly gal, she told us all about the sweet treats she recommended, we chose the cream cheese cinnamon roll, chocolate croissants and a frosted sugar cookie! Prices were reasonable I thought for being homemade treats. We will definitely be back to try more!! The cinnamon roll- delicious!!!!

I'm on a quest to find the best Croissant in each of the places I visit and Janjou Pâtisserie was my place to try in Boise. I went in with high expectations because of the reviews and I was not disappointed.
I only tried the Butter Croissant, but the entire selection looked amazing. The Croissant was buttery and flakey and had a wonderful texture. Each bite was a joy!
Janjou's has certainly set the bar high in Boise. And compared to other bakeries in the US, it ranks way up there.
I'll be back for more next time I'm in town.
