Came in to have one tire replaced and was helped by Ron who after the initial inspection of my car let me know i needed to strongly consider replacing all four tires. I could tell by the concern in his voice he wasn’t trying to scam me but truly wanted me to trust his expertise. He later showed me the pictured tire which was not even the one I was trying to get replaced! 🤦🏽♀️ thank God he gave me this advice and explained everything to me as he did because lord only knows how long I would have made it on this tire. Highly HIGHLY recommend this place for your safety check! I didn’t have an appointment, just drove up around 1230, and didn’t have to wait at all for my safety check. Maybe I just got lucky, but even when I came back after DMV, I only had to wait about 5 minutes. Both parts of the process at McCully Union Services took less than 20 minutes total, and only cost $26.
Gina is the BEST, she was so sweet and helpful, and told me step-by-step what I needed to do to register my car after I left. I was able to come back and finish the whole process in about 2 hours (including time waiting at the DMV with no appointment, then driving back to McCully Union Services to do the last part).
They’ll put your new plates on for you for $15, and definitely are NOT trying to nickel and dime you - Gina told me what tools I needed and encouraged me to save the $15 (it was really easy with pliers and a screwdriver, but I don’t think $15 is at all unreasonable if you don’t have the right tools!), which I a

We actually had Kapili Roofing do three things for us. Requested a whole roof inspection report for insurance purposes. The inspectors were so polite and asked permission for every area they were accessing. The report was very detailed and well documented with photos.
We knew we needed the roof of a patio addition redone and asked for a quote. Reasonable price. They completed the work in a day. Replaced some rotted wood underneath and fixed the connection of the seam between roof and patio addition better than it had originally been installed. I wasn’t experiencing any leaks so I was pleasantly surprised that a section of rotted wood was replaced - it will probably prevent a future problem. The crew was also so respectful and nice. Cleaned every bit of evidence that they were ever there.
An Inspector follows up to check on the work. I told him we found out we needed the garage roof redone too. He suggested the most reasonable “fix” after sharing the pros and cons of different methods.

LeakMaster did a great job cleaning, resurfacing and sealing two commercial roofs totaling more than 8,000 SF. Pricing was competitive. Professionalism and quality of work was outstanding. I worked mostly with Ty on the planning and scheduling and with Bryan on the business side. Their crew was on-site for over a week. No problems and nothing but great results. The roof looks brand new and we hadn’t done much but patch it since it was built 35 years ago!

Needed to find a roofer to resolve a granular loss of our flat garage roof to satisfy our insurance company. I Googled, read reviews and after 2 dead ends with "no follow through" other roofing companies I contacted R&C roofing. I called the office and a helpful woman took a message and said she would have someone contact me. Chris contacted me after I sent a chat online about the urgency of my need (the insurance company said they would cancel our policy if we didn't take care of the issue by a certain date).
I explained the situation to Chris and he agreed to come that afternoon to check our garage roof, for which I was grateful because he sounded like a busy man. It didn't take him long for the assessment, and a few hours later he emailed 2 proposals. One for modified bitumen (same as old roofing) and one for silicone coating. The insurance company was very vague on how they wanted the granular loss resolved, even when asked directly. So we went with the silicone coating. T

We recently had our roof replaced by Protech and we are very pleased with the outcome. The team at Protech did an amazing job and met all the times they promised. We took a long time to finalize the job because of some issues but the team at Protech honored and extended the quote they first gave us. I can't say enough about our contact Jared who we worked with thru the entire process. Jared provided great communication and was very timely with this information with us. The team that did the work was top notch and very professional. We added on a job to add on gutter to the house and that was also a seamless operation with these professionals. The team also did quality work to make the repairs our 60+ year old house desperately needed to prepare for the reroofing job. We contacted 3 roofing companies and no doubt this company is the best in the business. We are very pleased with Protech, Jared and the whole team!

MRC reroofed our pool house last year with Canadian cedar shake. It turned out so well that we decided to come back to reroof the main house. As before, MRC out right away for a free estimate. Victor, the salesman advises us that the building code now specifies that we needed to add a new layer of plywood since Hawaii is now listed as a hurricane susceptible state. In addition to the roof, MRC expertly installed two new skylights in our kitchen and bathroom. MRC’s crew cleaned up after themselves single every night. They even took their porta-potty away. The crew was polite and efficient from start to finish, The MRC team completed the job in a week. The new wood shakes come with a 50-year material warranty and a 7-year workmanship warranty. MRC used stainless steel fasteners and nails since we live near the beach. They are not as susceptible to salt air damage as galvanized nails.
