I visited the Topeka area from Kansas City and had Soul Fire noted as one of the food options I wanted to check out. It didn't disappoint! I wanted to try a variety of meats, and the gentleman running the counter was patient with me as we figured out how to structure my order to try several different foods in small quantities.
I enjoyed all the different meats, and think the pulled pork was especially good. I mixed in extra BBQ sauce with chunks of rib meat, and it blended wonderfully :) Also, the baked beans were just the right amount of spicy for me, with a thick meaty flavor that you'd expect from a BBQ place.
I think they should consider having more seating inside the building, but since most of the orders seemed to be pick-ups to-go, maybe that's just their business model. Regardless, the food was amazing, and I took it with me to have a sit down outside at the Ted Ensley Gardens, which are only 6-minutes away.
