Honolulu Beerworks was an unexpected gem and turned out to be one of the most memorable brewery stops on our trip. Tucked back into a commercial area, you definitely start to wonder if you’re heading in the right direction—but that’s part of the fun. Just when you think you’ve taken a wrong turn, you come upon a spacious, inviting brewery that’s absolutely worth the hunt.
Once inside, the space opens up into a huge, open-air layout where you can see the full production side of the operation. Watching the brewing equipment in action adds a cool behind-the-scenes feel, almost like you’re getting a brewery tour while enjoying your beer. The atmosphere is laid-back, airy, and distinctly local, with plenty of space to spread out and soak in the vibe.
The beer itself was excellent. We enjoyed a pint and were impressed with the craftsmanship—clean, flavorful, and true to style. It’s the kind of beer that keeps you wanting to try more of the lineup on the next visit
