Wordsworth is first-rate, and we're lucky to have a locally owned bookstore of its caliber in our area. I gave up on Wordsworth under its previous ownership, which was consistently rude and even hostile to me, and began buying books from Barnes and Noble and, in the past but not now, from Amazon.
But after I did a book signing at Wordsworth a few years back and met its new owner, I've returned to doing business there and am glad I did. I recently ordered some books the store didn't have in stock which I wanted to give as Christmas gifts, and they got them to me in no time flat.
Today, when I asked about cookbooks for children, the staff person who helped me turned loose of what she was doing, though the store was busy with Christmas shoppers, led me to a selection of cookbooks for children, and explained to me the advantages of each one.
