Specialties: The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts produces one of the largest and longest-running free outdoor summer festivals in the nation, featuring world-class performing arts and entertainment from all over the globe, presented free-of-charge.
This unique open-air destination presents a vibrant range of performing arts, featuring established and award-winning artists as well as emerging ones, from local bands to national and international acts, including music, dance, theatre, comedy, cabaret, film, circus and spectacle and more - including "RiverSwing", a series of evenings sprinkled throughout the season on which a free pre-concert dance lesson is offered in the style of the music about to be enjoyed.
In addition, every summer includes the acclaimed Children's Series on Wednesday evenings.
The Levitt Pavilion also produces three to five ticketed concert fundraisers to help underwrite our free programming. Established in 1973. Established by the Westport community in 1973, the original Levitt Pavilion remains an independent and unique not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization.
The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts attracts over 50,000 audience members to Westport each summer and, to date, has welcomed over 1.5 million - and counting!
This summer we will unveil an all-new and totally transformed facility with improved amenities for both audiences and artists.
Our campaign to support our new home is still underway and the only way to support the Levitt Pavilion is directly. Find out more about us and how you can be a part of what we are building on our website.
