The Portuguese Language Development Specialist is primarily responsible for working with small groups of students in the implementation of evidence-based literacy and language development instructional practices to improve biliteracy achievement in the school.

Responsibility for direct service to students in need of intense Portuguese literacy interventions in Grades 5-7 is required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions or duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various type of work that may be performed. Assist the Principal in reviewing building assessment data to recommend and support district-level biliteracy improvement goals.
