About this role

The Finance & Business Planning (FBP) team at Meta manages the company's budget and drives data-informed decisions to shape the future of Meta and its products. The Infrastructure FBP team focuses on investments in infrastructure to enable the next generation of artificial intelligence technologies.

The Strategic Cloud Deals Manager role involves strategic financial and commercial efforts related to large-scale infrastructure investments at Meta. Responsibilities include building financial and commercial models, developing structuring analyses, and providing decision support for multi-billion-dollar transactions.

Responsibilities

Partner with deal leads and Infrastructure teams during negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and sound risk allocation
Prepare materials to support internal financial approval processes and provide insights to Finance leadership
Build programmatic financial benchmarks for assessing CapEx and OpEx across transactions
Develop and maintain advanced financial and commercial models for analyzing deal terms

Drive analysis and preparation of commercial and financial deal terms, collaborating with internal and external partners
Translate complex developments in the Cloud industry into actionable insights for Finance leadership
Collaborate with various teams to identify and mitigate financial, tax, and legal risks
Serve as a thought partner to drive strategic infrastructure deals forward

Required Skills & Experience

10 years of experience in strategic finance, commercial roles, investment banking, or strategy consulting
Experience in implementing responsible, ethical AI practices and ongoing AI skill development
Ability to integrate AI tools for workflow optimization and impact measurement
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field

Experience in building and working with detailed financial models and contributing to deal negotiations
Analytical problem-solving skills and effective collaboration across functions
Experience in Cloud or data center industry with deal analysis involvement
Advanced degree such as MBA, JD, or relevant field
