Job Description
Plant HR Manager
Base pay range: $110,000$145,000/yr. Job Summary
The Plant HR Manager oversees all HR activities within the plant to ensure effective personnel management, compliance with labor laws, and employee engagement to support operational objectives. Key Responsibilities
• Partner with staffing agencies and corporate recruiting to meet production demands.
• Act as liaison between plant management and employees to resolve grievances and address workplace issues.
• Foster a positive employee experience through engagement initiatives, team?building activities, and consistent communication.
• Oversee performance review processes, providing guidance to supervisors.
• Partner with EHS and plant leadership to ensure a safe working environment, including workers compensation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws and company policies.
• Lead investigations into workplace incidents and employee complaints in accordance with legal requirements.
• Lead continuous improvement projects related to HR processes.
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, attendance, and engagement scores.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in human resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience.
• 2+ years supporting hourly workforce in an HR capacity such as manufacturing or retail.
• Workers compensation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters degree or MBA in HR or related field.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of HR laws and compliance requirements.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
Location
