About this role

7th Peak Marketing is seeking a part-time Social Media Manager to join our team this summer as an intern. This role will focus on crafting engaging, high-quality captions, scheduling and managing posts for clients, and creating eye-catching graphics for both internal marketing efforts and client campaigns.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content strategy, strong design skills, and excellent writing and editing abilities. You should be comfortable creating graphics in Canva, adapting messaging across different brand voices, audiences, and platforms, and bringing creative ideas to life through both visuals and copy.

Responsibilities

  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and enhancing internal processes
  • Monitor various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Experience with **Adobe Photoshop** is a plus, but not required
  • Brainstorm and contribute campaign ideas
  • Strong proficiency in **Canva** is required, with a solid understanding of design principles and content creation.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's brand, customer base, product goals, and overall service
  • Manage some of the company's social media accounts and publish content
  • Create engaging and well-written captions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Knowledgeable about leveraging social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to drive brand awareness and engagement
  • Must be able to work in Charlotte, NC, and surrounding areas at least twice a week
  • Solid understanding of social media, publishing, content creation, social distribution methods, and social analytics
  • Degree or currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Must have access to a laptop, mobile phone, and reliable transportation
