Who doesn't love to hear children laughing? Even when they're 30? YES! What a wonderful Christmas visit we had with my son and daughter with hours of childhood VHS tapes converted to digital. Piano recitals, swim meets, school interviews, skiing and skateboarding, all that kid stuff that happens so fast came back to life. Oh, did we laugh and love each other all over again. And it was oh, so easy. A phone call to HVS with my needs, directions for shipping, then box them up and make payment. Robert was so helpful and delightfully professional. When the episodes were received, I couldn't have been happier, exactly what I expected. Now we all have access and copies to enjoy. I just returned from UPS where I shipped a second box of tapes. Can't wait to view them . . . or maybe wait for next Christmas. I wouldn't hesitate to use this service. A personable staff and reasonably priced, what's not to like. Highly recommend. Used Home Video Studio and Robert Hanley to fix some home videos I had transferred to VHS tapes decades ago. Image on tape had degraded and tape tore and un-playable. I originally sent it to a different company that said it was not fixable. Contacted HVS, who were able to retrieve the image and then was even able to make some changes and they improved the image quality. I am very happy with the service. This was the best thing we did with our old cassette tapes! Robert was beyond easy to work with! The process is seamless, and if you are okay to send them off and wait... you'll find yourself months later remembering you sent those off and it is the best surprise! We had all of our VHS compact home videos transferred to digital and the quality came out so well! I’m so happy to have these anytime I want to watch them. However, at the time of the sales pitch, it was never mentioned that this is a subscription plan for $7.95 a month. After a bit of back-and-forth, it was agreed that I would not be part of the subscription plan And would get my videos on a flash drive. Cheryl was very helpful with her customer service.
