I found myself needing to find a new salon after the one I used closed. I was a little unhappy with the last haircut from my used to be regular stylist and I let it go extra long but when I went to book an appointment, found them closed so that sealed the deal.
I am bit of a cheapskate by nature so I was shocked by the prices of salons when I started looking. I found Salon 6 to be in line with others and I like that there was some variance in pricing. I have pretty thick, quick growing forgiving hair so it is pretty hard to mess my hair up permantely. I booked with Gwyn and I have to say very impressed. The overall vibe of the salon is calm. Gwyn's shampooing (which is already my favorite part) was oh my word good. The head massage was fabulous. Her touch during the hair cut was so light I found myself drifting off. I don't have a strong preference on styling and the last 2 stylists I have went to have loved to play in my hair so I have always said surprise me. Next time I

Jazzlyn is genuinely a miracle worker. I had the best experience here the other day, I thought my goal was impossible and she proved me so wrong. She got me to this BEAUTIFUL dimensional caramel WITHOUT BLEACH from RED uneven BOX DYE that I did myself 😭 (the picture is deceiving the red looked way worse in person) I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a genuine transformation. The entire staff at Salon Honey makes a 6 hour vivid hair transformation pleasant and welcoming Everyone is kind and the atmosphere is relaxing! Easy parking in Fountain Square... You really couldn't ask for more!

Rena is so fantastic! Felt absolutely cared for from the minute I walked in until I left. Got a new hair color, cut and blowout - so happy with it, and my hair feels so soft and healthy! And Rena had extra pre-work to do on my hair... I had a lot of box dye in my past!! But she was so reassuring that I didn't feel anxious about the process!
Also got my nails done with Vi, powder dip and cateye polish, love the results! Overall I love this salon and will definitely be back!

Barnes & Noble at River Crossing in Indianapolis is hands down one of my favorite places to go when I need to unplug and completely transform my mindset. From the moment you walk in, the space just invites you to slow down and explore. The aisles are expansive, thoughtfully laid out, and the displays are incredibly easy to follow—you never feel overwhelmed, just inspired.
The children’s section is absolutely magnificent, with so many inviting areas where kids (and adults!) can truly get lost in books. There are countless nooks throughout the store that encourage discovery, imagination, and quiet reflection.
What truly elevates this location, though, is the staff. The store manager is consistently accommodating and genuinely eager to assist, which makes every visit feel welcoming and personal. I love shopping here- there is always something new that catches my eye, because they organize the books slightly differently than other shops. The bookshelves feature and point you to titles that will peak your interest. The vibes are on point!

A wonderful little shop that is very carefully managed and always seems to have something we're looking for. We mostly come for DVDs because their selection is excellent and the organization is great but they also obviously excel at books too.
A charming experience that is a refreshing breath of fresh air from a big box store or even some other local buy-and-sell shops where the worker apathy shows throughout. And the prices are great too!

What a fantastic book shop! The vibes are immaculate of course, but the books are equally as glamorous. From old fan favorites to new novels, this place had everything. The shop is set up with ease and finding books was a breeze. They had lots of cute decor around, and some totes and stickers for purchase. The staff was really nice and they even have a book program you can sign up for if you’re local. They also had tables outside which was nice to see people reading at and enjoying their coffee. The area nearby is very walkable, with many locals stopping in. Definitely stop by if you get a chance, one of the best bookstores I’ve been to!
