I had been very ill at home for about 12 hours from something that just hit me out of nowhere. My daughter called EMS after I blacked out at home to get me help because I was too sick to help myself and the kids were very worried. I went to the ER and they worked very hard to find out what was going on. They immediately began tests and treatment and I ended up being so sick I had to be admitted, which I didn’t expect to happen. I had colitis, infection, severe dehydration, and dangerous acidosis. I’m glad I was at that hospital. It was closer to my home so my kids could come visit me. The doctors talked to me and explained everything that was going on. The nurses and nursing staff were very caring and helpful. My pain was managed and anything I needed was given to me. You never want to be ill enough to need to stay at the hospital, but if you do, I highly recommend St.Teresa. It’s a beautiful facility and much smaller compared to the bigger hos
