Michelle at Ritual is absolutely incredible. By far, my favorite haircut experience ever. Not only did I leave with a fantastic haircut, but I left feeling refreshed and focused, light and beautiful. Michelle creates a very special experience, one of care and thoughtfulness. She is warm and patient, listens completely, and is very skilled with hair. Highest recommendation for Michelle! Ritual Collective is a super cute salon, and I always feel welcome and comfy when I go in. I always go in to see Amelia. She is the best! I highly recommend getting a service from her, she has done my hair (cut and color), now for over 4 years, and I love what she does. Amelia is 100% client centered. She listens to you and combines your requests with her own extensive experience, expertise, and intuition, always honoring and hearing what you want your hair to look and feel like. Throughout my time seeing her, she has given me different kinds of haircuts, lengths, and color. (She does amazing blonde, and does it in a way that keeps my hair so healthy :) On top of being an excellent stylist, Amelia is just a super kind, thoughtful, and magical person, who is just a real gem of a human. She brings her grounded and bright energy to every session, and shows up open to however you want your time to go. (I never feel pressured to talk the whole time or be silent.) I look forward to every session I have with Amelia. I love Amelia because she is such an authentic being with a calm and creative energy. She really listens and asks great questions to help support the natural beauty of my hair. She gives great recommendations for products that are really effective at nourishing the hair and are also made with care and simplicity. I also see Amelia for hair color and she is great at matching my natural tones and helping me bring out brighter hues that suit my skin tone. My hair can be wavy or straight depending on the length and time of year/season. Amelia has helped me find a variety of cuts and styles that work for my hair type. Amelia also offers extras for your appt so when I want to give my hair a little extra love I can choose a deep conditioning treatment or some essential oils. Lacy has been cutting my hair for a little over a year now so this review is a bit overdue. I have wavy, thick hair and I have never been able to air dry it without it looking like a frizz bomb went off. Lacy's haircuts changed allllll that. I came away feeling amazing, with a style that received raves from everyone I know. I’ve had 2 more sessions with her, and each one has surpassed my expectations. I recently had my pixie cut styled by Michelle Patton, and I want to say what a kind and skilled stylist she is. She was incredibly patient, professional, and so nice to talk to, which made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. As someone who is ultra picky about my pixie cut, I know I can be hard to please. I truly appreciate the care and effort she put into it. I always leave feeling more nourished than when I came in (where else will you have a stylist put a crystal eye mask on you and share reiki and tuning fork eneries with you as part of the shampoo and rinse part of the program?). Highly recommend getting a scalp facial in the dry season too. Michelle is a dream to work with! She's been tending to my mop a few years now and I look forward to being in her chair. She was the first hair stylist to acknowledge my hair's natural wave, shape it, and show me how to work WITH it so that I can enhance and embrace the wave. My relationship with my hair has completely shifted - and I've received many compliments! Michelle helped breathe a totally new life into my hair and my hair care ritual. She listens and truly cares for the health of your hair, your lifestyle needs concerning style & color, and you as a person. One of the big draws for me is that the salon uses high quality eco friendly/natural products that are so much better for my fine hair and sensitive skin and scalp.
