We used A-Z for our first large (in scale and $$) home renovation project. The pricing was very fair, and the timeline they gave us for the project was met. All of the staff that came to the house were very professional and courteous.(The tile team are EXCELLENT) Having a female project lead is GENIUS. It provided me a really great avenue for asking questions. The availability of Samantha, Charles and the other sub-leads was really remarkable. I was able to reach out and get answers very quickly from all of them. I was a total novice to SO much of this, so having a friendly and responsive team was really helpful. A-Z finish carpentry popped up in my search all of a sudden after I had tried contacting multiple other contractors for my kitchen/bathroom renovation. So glad they did! I sent a message asking about a quote and Charles came over same day. He had a 3D draft of the kitchen based on our specs next day. I had dozens of questions which Charles answered promptly and patiently and never dropped off the radar or pressured us into anything. The demo started exactly when it was scheduled and moved quickly. Permits were pulled on time, inspections happened on time and the crew were great! They cleaned up after every day of work and were extremely polite. They also stayed within the timeline we were quoted for. Our end results are absolutely beautiful- really exceeded my expectations and I am beyond happy with everything. A rare find in the contracting world to find someone that not only responds to your request and doesn’t disappear, but delivers amazing results in a reasonable time. The team did an awesome job! I hired A-Z Finish in September/October 2023 to perform a renovation of my bathroom. I wanted a full replacement of my floor tile, vanity, toilet, as well as the conversion of my bathtub to a standup shower. We had Charles and his team A/Z Carpentry do a few projects at my house. Everything came out awesome! They did our 2 story front porch, some kitchen and bathroom work. Charles took care of everything. Everyone who came in to do work was professional and courteous. Great attention to detail on each project organized and clean. They gave great recommendations about tradespeople to work with and where to buy supplies. The final product is everything we hoped for - our primary bathroom is now a serene oasis that feels almost twice as big as it did before. We would gladly hire A-Z again for a future project. Charles and his crew did an amazing job with our kitchen renovation! The kitchen was gutted and the wall removed in between the kitchen and living room. From the beginning of demo to finish was about a month and a half. It was so nice to have Charles keeping everything on schedule and organized. The whole project went smoothly with Charles at the helm! He was on top of everything and stayed in communication about the different steps, inspections, who was coming and going, etc. We’re so happy to have the open space and I love the way it came out. We just had a complete gut and remodel of our kitchen and bathroom that we started in January. Charles at A-Z was great and communicative throughout the whole process. His guys were professional, courteous and all around great workers that pushed through the whole project. New plumbing stack, new electrical, structural reinforcements, blue board and plastering, floor and wall tile, lighting, insulation, fixtures, cabinetry and more were all done. Project took 6 weeks and even with a few hiccups and needed extras that cropped up they were able to handle it all. I love the new look and all the work done was great. Finished result is the proof. I’m impressed with everything they did and even started to quote the next couple projects with Charles to get a few other things done. A-Z did an amazing job on my bathroom remodel in a time-efficient manner. The whole team was easy to work with, professional, and did excellent work each step of the way.
