He's very thorough and explains what he's doing in case you have questions. His report is very comprehensive and worth every penny. I'll use him for every inspection I have without hesitation.

I'd been thinking about stopping in the store the whole time I've been visiting Oahu, and finally decided it was time. It looks pretty small when driving by, but was actually fairly good-sized. I told the two ladies I was with that if it was a disappointment that I'd take full blame. As I opened the door, I just looked over at them and announced, "I can tell already -- no disappointment!" :-D I had to take a photo of the colorful view. They have such an array of gorgeous prints, many Hawaiian, but some other styles. I saw a couple of shelves with some Chinese patterns, one with a dragon motif I almost bought even though I have nothing to do with it! There were some other fabrics and anything else you'd see in any fabric store anywhere that were more what you'd see on the mainland or wherever as well, and a good array of quilting fabrics. I also saw some that would make excellent curtains.

Eliza was a delight to meet. What an unexpected educational seminar on locally sourced chocolate - bean to bar. She is truly a chocolate sommelier - accurately describing the tasting profiles of samples. Each bar even contains suggested wine and beer pairings. We stumbled upon this store and want to let everyone know how close it is to Waikiki. If you’re in the area please stop in and support local farms. Buy as much as you can afford but be advised that once you taste Monoa’s chocolate it will become the benchmark that you evaluate all other chocolate against.

Neat place! Lots & lots of fabric - more than you would think as tiny as this shop is. Something for every project! Would have loved to have given 5 stars as the owner was so sweet, helpful & knowledgeable. She's a 1-person show, so she was cutting fabric, ringing customers up, & answering questions - this is why the process is slow & manually time-consuming. I was 4th in line - it took almost 25-minutes to be helped. The first 2 customers had fabric, the next customer just had a spool of thread. Each cut of fabric involved annotating how much of the bolt would be left, then writing down the yardage cut & the cost. Then cutting & folding that piece before moving on to the next cut. This was done for each cut & each customer. Everyone ahead of me belonged to the frequent shopper program, so that required the owner manually looking for their membership card in a small box then annotating their purchase before ringing them up. The hours are kind of funky - M-W-F 130p-430p & Sat 10a-1230p

We love Kilauea and have been so pleased with their services for about 5 years now! Kaylin is awesome at listening to our needs and finding a resolution that works for our family. He is always aware of keeping my kids safe and only spraying interior when absolutely necessary. He does such a good job on exterior that we have only needed and interior spray once for some ants but otherwise we don’t see bugs inside. We would highly recommend Kilauea to anyone looking for a safe and very informed pest control service!

Instead, he patiently waited until the kitchen was completely ready and then provided meticulous and professional service.
