Second visit and still had a great time with tons of laughs. The drive through will take you at least an hour as you stop to feed along the way and they have 2 sections of animals to see. Recommend at least 4 buckets of food per car. Second visit and still had a great time with tons of laughs. Read the reviews before you go. Read the drive through park information before you go. And whatever you read about it be prepared for so much more!!! Buy way more feed than you think you will use. These amazing animals will put their entire big beautiful heads in your vehicle, complete with drool and crumbs. Don't wash and detail your vehicle before you go, it will definitely need it again. Our visit was exciting and beautiful. Nothing that we read about this place really prepared us for what was in store for us. The drive through was so much fun and after that we got to be up close and personal with the giraffes. We also saw lemur, parrots, parakeets and a petting zoo for the little ones. We loved all of it! I have heard of this place and finally decided to visit with my son over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was awesome that they were offering free admission for state/federal employees. We had a great time driving through the safari trail and feeding the animals. It was a great experience and will definitely do it again. Some advice I would give to best plan for your visit: 1. If you’re driving your car, it’s gonna get a bit messy. Between the animals licking windows, sticking their head in the car to get some food, definitely plan to go to the car wash afterwards. Alternatively you can book a wagon to take you on the safari. 2. The safari trail is quite long; and once you start there’s no stopping. That said, I highly recommend making a restroom stop before you get started. Otherwise you might find yourself pulling over and performing some gymnastics to use a cup/bottle in your back seat We really enjoyed this experience and can’t wait to do it again. What a fun place for all ages. There is 5 miles to drive through to be up close and personal with the animals. There is also two areas to walk through which are quite nice. The buckets of food are great and go a long way. They have a station set up half way through to purchase more food. What a great concept. Some of the folks didn't follow the rules and were petting and feeding the zebras. The heads of the zebras were in the cars ahead of us and that's a BIG no-no. But some folks are just meant to break the rules. To bad they didn't get bit in order to teach them a lesson. (Foolish is as foolish does) Kids were hanging out of sun roofs to feed the animals. Guess the parents aren't to swift either. Another disaster waiting to unfold. Other than the idiots in front of us...a great time we had. What a fun place for all ages. Truly one of the best hidden gems in South Carolina. I first discovered this place during Covid, and I have to say—it just keeps getting better every year. The drive-thru experience is unique and absolutely fantastic, offering close-up encounters you won’t forget. The walking attractions and petting zoo are a refreshing break after the drive, perfectly balancing adventure and relaxation. Everything is so well thought out and family-friendly. I’ve made it a tradition to visit every year, and it never disappoints! Truly one of the best hidden gems in South Carolina. My family and I had an amazing time. Im a person that don't like to be near animals and this farm changed my perspective. I was petting animals and that's something I don't do. Everyone was so nice and the animals were so calm and loving. I literally give this place a 9.5 out of 10. Only because it was little pricey in my opinion but I understand they have to pay workers and feed the animals. Other than that this an amazing place. Just glad I was able to enjoy God's creations. I pet a giraffe, sheep and goat for the first time. Amazing 👏 My family and I had an amazing time. Im a person that don't like to be near animals and this farm changed my perspective. I've lived in Pelion, SC for a few years now, and I've always wanted to come here, but never did until this Veterans Day. What an absolute treat this place was! First of all, very affordable, and a great idea for a date with your partner, or perhaps a birthday treat for your kids. Honestly, this is appropriate for all ages and just about any occasion. My wife and I brought our 3 youngest (ages 9, 12, and 12), and they loved it. Secondly, as a veteran dealing with PTSD, I have always found interaction with animals to be at least mildly therapeutic. This amplified that feeling ten-fold. I literally got to hug cows and camels (among others), and it took me back to a childhood feeling of comfort, warmth, and security. I can't emphasize strongly enough just how full my heart felt getting to interact with these beautiful animals. Finally, the walking portion was equally fun, as we got to feed some friendly giraffes, which my kids adored. 10/10 experience! Ok….THIS place is AWESOME! I have never seen ads or promotions for it, only know of it because my wife has been before and today we all went - again, WOW! Such a FUN place! You drive thru pretty much at your own pace. The “rules” clearly state to feed the animals directly from the bowls, but (everyone) feeds them directly by hand…so gentle and fun! The ostrich’s are a bit more aggressive, for lack of a better word - but NOT at all in a bad way. They are just “FAST” in movement which I think gets everyone’s attention. One of the camels did not settle for his few snacks by hand and stuck his head in from the passenger side and was taking food from my bowl on my lap on the driver side. We simply moved forward slowly and he backed out…. GREAT time for adults and kids. There is a cool petty zoo area at the end as well. Advice - buy SEVERAL bowls of food. You will wish you had at least 5 to effectively get thru and feed the animals! Enjoy - truly, a great experience! Ok….THIS place is AWESOME!
