Franklin Park Zoo is a fun family outing with lots of different animal habitats to explore from giraffes and gorillas to farm animals and butterflies. It’s a nice way to spend a couple of hours outdoors and kids especially enjoy the interactive areas and playground. Some exhibits may be temporarily closed and food can be pricey, but overall it’s a pleasant and educational zoo visit. Visited onWeekdayWait timeUp to 10 minReservation recommendedYes

Had a fairly good experience as far as a winter trip could go. Didn't see any staff around other than who was working to clean exhibits. The African exhibit was under construction. Crews were very polite. Some animals were unavailable due to the weather which wasn't noted on the website. Great visit with the gorillas!Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes

Franklin Park Zoo is an amazing place to visit! The zoo is clean, well-organized, and perfect for families, kids, or anyone who loves animals. The Tropical Forest with the gorillas is the highlight — peaceful, beautiful, and educational. The giraffes, lions, kangaroos, and farm animals give you plenty to see, and the walking paths are easy and enjoyable. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole park feels safe and relaxing. It usually takes 2–3 hours to explore everything, and it’s worth every minute. One of the best places in Boston,Visited onWeekdayReservation recommendedNot sure
