Works of Wyoming began under the direction of the Women's Business Center. The first attempt with a retail space was in the Laramie Plains Civic Center and we actually had some positive experiences with selling works of Wyoming...that is... once people found us. Moving to the space on 1st street was truly a leap of faith as we recruited more artists and remodeled and as always with a non profit sought additional funding. But...we made that leap of faith and WOW flourished. Five years later moving to the new building on the corner of Grand Ave and 2nd street, was yet another leap of faith. We envision that WOW will continue to grow and provide a successful venue for selling Wyoming art. WOW provides visibility to over 70 Artists from all across Wyoming.
