The entire process with Wood Gem from concept through installation including design and construction was easy and honest. All response times were fast. Roy is friendly and pleasing to work with. There is a lot to be said for liking the people that are working in your home. The cabinets we purchased from Wood Gem are beautiful full frame cabinets with tongue and groove construction, truly top of the line. They arrived on time and installation was painless despite seriously uneven floors and beams surrounding the cabinets. Roy help us with the design to make sure the overall kitchen design would minimize the unevenness of our kitchen. He was thorough, has a great understanding of the product which one could expect but he also repeatedly demonstrated patience and the ability to quickly adjust and adapt to changing needs. Roy custom made an end table for my family. Roy transformed our leftover cherry wood into a beautiful side table. He was able to seamlessly blend our piece of wood with new pieces for the legs and shelf. It matches perfectly. It’s flawless! We love it so much. The pieces on his website are also very tempting. The in-lays and ornate carvings are amazing. I want an entire house of his artful masterpieces.

Roy is a master carpenter. He has an amazing eye and attention to detail and made my custom kitchen cabinets with soft close doors and drawers, beautifully. I will continue to use him on any project that requires carpentry. He also has a painter that sprays his work and the finish is stunning. He just redid a botched job on a bathroom vanity by a contractor in a complete bathroom remodel, wish he could have done the entire thing - Roy, do you do tile work? Ha!
