What People love about this company
Wine Stop has been part of DTLA's thriving Arts District since 2016. We continue our commitment to offering L.A. top-quality, sustainable, organic, biodynamic, natural, and affordable appellation wines exclusively available at our three L.A. shops. We source our wines directly from wineries that work with the utmost respect for their land and workers. Year after year we continue visiting our producers to taste the new vintages. All wine bottles sold at Wine Stop Wine Shops are hand-selected by Alvaro Cardenas, who can count on 25-plus years of tasting experience. He champions small local producers from lesser-known wine appellations. Wine Stop's second location opened in Silver Lake in 2020, and the third in Echo Park in 2022.

Happy Thursday!!🥳🥳🥳 aka @winestop’s wine & cheese night🎉This cute shop is located right outside of Arts District in DTLA and they offer an amazing wine selection at affordable prices. The owner, Alvarado is super knowledgeable about every wine as he goes to each vineyard in Europe to source his bottles👏🏻🍽Ordered:1. Wine & cheese night tickets which includes 3 cheese plates & 3 wine pairingsTheir wines are always delicious and each Thursday a different pairing is showcased. The tapas that come with each wine are fresh and keep you filled while the wine is flowing. This place is a great spot to come with besties for a casual and fun time.🌟Tips:-parking in that area is a little difficult sometimes but there is a parking lot around the back of the building that you may be able to park at-come before 8pm since they close around 9/9:30 pm-get tickets for wine & cheese night in advance on their website💰Price:$25/pp for wine & cheese

Fantastic spot. I came in looking for a Spanish Garnacha and James helped me find a great one in my budget. He then proceeded to share two anecdotes about the wine business that were both informative and funny. Came in for a bottle of wine and left entertained and educated. I’ll be back.

I’ve lived in many places around the world, and I’ve never loved a wine shop the way I do this one. James, who is usually there, is delightful, deeply knowledgeable, and a true ray of light. He’s the main reason I trust this place—he’s simply the best. And the wine selection is next level and so reasonably priced.

What an absolutely wonderful wine place to accidentally stumble upon while getting my morning coffee. James was the name of the gentleman who helped me and really took his time explaining the shop and it’s history and nearly all of the wines in stock one by one. I ended up, leaving with four separate bottles, all new to me, and I am very excited to try them. This place is approachable and well laid out and I will make sure that I visit anytime that I’m in the area. I highly recommend just popping in for a look and maybe a quick sip of wine.
