The Tucson J, built in 1989 and renovated in 2018, serves more than 2,000 families and 5,000 members of all faiths, all identities, all abilities, and all walks of life. The J has a 110,000 square-foot facility, featuring a heated swimming pool, steam room & sauna, splash park, six tennis courts, a full basketball gymnasium, baseball fields, community garden, large indoor event space, beautiful sculpture garden, and so much more. With recent renovations, our updated art gallery, fitness center, and indoor Kid’s Play Space are popular with our members and are the talk of the town!

Awesome gym with great views of Tucson, friendly staff, great new tennis + pickleball courts, childcare options are family and schedule friendly. Great smart COVID protocols and the building feels safe to visit.

Great place for the pool, the gym, child care, classes, and events. A bit on the pricey side but worth it. :-)

Overall please with my experience. My children attend middle school aftercare program and seem to like it. My only complaint is the gym hours could be extended. The Jacuzzi needs a good sanitation and needs to be a lot hotter. The sauna should be much more hot in temperature. The steam room needs to be sanitized and rules need to be enforced. People need to shower and not wear stinky gym clothes into the steam room And believe that for the cost of the membership these changes should be easy to fix.

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Great program called JPlay we are in plus we love using the splash pad and indoor play space. Also can't say enough amazing things about staff like fitness instructor Emily and JPlay teachers.
