The Red Hydrant is dedicated in providing the highest quality dog care in the neighborhood. Our experienced staff have anywhere from 3-7 years working with dogs and cats. Our 1400 sqft facility gives your pup room to stretch his/her legs while also providing a personalized experience for your dog. Our boarding rooms are spacious and comfortable so your dog can get some well deserve rest after a fun and exhilarating day with us. We offer daycare, overnight boarding for dogs throughout the 5 boroughs. We also offer dog walking for Prospect Heights, Crown Heights, Bedford-Stuyvesant and prospect lefferts garden neighborhoods, sunset park, flatbush and park slope. We also offer in house cat sitting and dog pick up and drop off service.

We took our youthful senior dog to Red Hydrant for daycare and boarding and couldn’t have been happier with the experience and service. It was his first time at daycare or group boarding and he did so well playing and making friends . Jeff and his team are extremely professional, communicative, and knowledgeable. They were flexible with our needs and treated our fur baby very well. All of the dogs seems happy and well-cared for. We can’t wait to return to the Red Hydrant! Services Dog boarding, Dog daycare

I have been using Red Hydrant since the fall of 2024 and I have zero complaints! Unlike many daycares, they don’t overcharge or overcrowd their facility, which ensures the safety and well-being of every pet under their care. I absolutely love receiving the cutest updates throughout the day of my dog, Peanut. He’s always having a blast with his doggie friends and comes home soooo tired—clearly enjoying every minute of his time there! Red Hydrant has become such a reliable and loving second home for my pup, and I couldn’t be happier with their service. Very reliable! Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about The Red Hydrant Dog Hotel and Daycare, and especially Jeff and his team! They have been exceptional for our dog Gordo and our three cats during multiple in-home boarding stays (often for a week at a time), as well as for regular dog walks. I’m very selective about who I trust with our pets, and Jeff earned that trust immediately. From the very first visit, he stood out. Gordo is a rescue who can be wary of new people, and Jeff instinctively understood that trust takes time. He met Gordo exactly where he was, moved at his pace, and made him feel completely at ease. It was clear right away that he truly understands animals. Our cat Leo was purring and rolling onto his back within the first minute of meeting Jeff. That told us everything we needed to know. Whether it’s daily walks or extended in-home boarding, Jeff and his team are incredibly respectful, attentive, and reliable. They follow every request to a T, keep our home spotless, and consistent
