What an amazing daycare. The facilities are beautiful, fun, and clean. The staff is very friendly and kind. They make it so easy to communicate with the staff through the Brightwheel app. We are constantly updated throughout the day with pictures of kiddos. :) We are very happy with our choice. This place is amazing. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, caring and responsive. The facility is new, clean and awesomely designed for little ones. The menu is wonderful - I feel great about what my child eats there during the day. The thing I love the most is their curriculum - every week is a different unit - even for the youngest kids! They have designated art time, music time, story time, outside time, etc. At 2 years old, I feel like my daughter is getting an amazing start to her education. I also really appreciate the Brightwheel app they use- I get pictures and updates all day long about what my daughter is doing. I would recommend this daycare 1000 times over.

If you closed your eyes and imagined the best Daycare in the whole world.... the Barnyard is what you would see. The facility? Beautiful, safe, secure, and lots of light and outdoor play spaces. The staff? Smiling, friendly, consistent, loving, and kind. Seamless billing and easy payment? Check. Reasonable prices? Check. A secure and easy-to-use app to check on your kiddo throughout the day? DOUBLE CHECK. Also, the kids eats better than I do thanks to the gourmet cooking and huge kitchen. Nomore chicken nuggets for us! I could go on and on about how happy I am, but you’re probably bored by now so I will stop. 😂 But seriously, they’re flawless. The Barnyard is one of the BEST businesses in Boise and the best daycare I have ever used- you won’t be disappointed. Thank you to the wonderful owner and staff that make this place so amazing!!!

This is an incredible childcare center. Not only do the staff care about your kids, they are inclusive, developmentally based, and provide your children with meaningful activities. We experienced 3 different childcare situations (a large center, a small center, and private childcare) none even hold a candle to the Barnyard. The best part for us... they use no screens! That means that you aren’t paying money for your children to be sitting in front of a computer or TV set all day. They go on walks/bike rides, play outside, do learning-based crafts/activities, and have a really robust curriculum (even for toddlers). From the nutrition to physical activities to learning on the classroom, you cannot find a better childcare center in this area. We commute almost 30 minutes out of our way everyday because we love it so much! On top of the day-to day activities, they also offer what I would consider “extra curricular activities” that your kids can opt into like tumbling, tennis, music lesso

Safety is always a priority, and they have protocols in place to deal with situations as they arise. Leadership is great about communicating with us as parents. I don't know where we'd be without the Barnyard. It's been a lifesaver for us after we relocated to Boise with two young children and two working parents. Barnyard teachers are nurturing, high energy, and invested. The staff is always friendly and responsive and know all the kids' names. They have a great in-house chef who makes a healthy variety of meals and snacks. Parent communication is detailed and fun - lots of pictures and a user-friendly app make it easy to stay up to date and communicate with teachers and staff. Facilities are big, bright, clean, and new. Drop-off and pickup logistics are super convenient. Bottom line - Our 2 and 5 yr old have settled right in and really enjoy their days at the Barnyard, and we love knowing our kids are in such good care every day.

We have been at the Barnyard since they opened almost a year ago, and have loved minute there. Our daughter started in the Chicks (infant) Room and has moved up two classes since then. I have been more than impressed with each teacher she has had in those classrooms. The leadership and staff are all warm, affectionate, knowledgeable and extremely dedicated to providing the best care for kiddos of all ages and stages. Their attention to cleanliness, nutrition and great age-appropriate activities are things our family has greatly appreciated. The Barnyard is simply the BEST!

The Barnyard was a home away from home for both of my kids. There's a very user friendly app where you can see pictures and the activities of your kids throughout the day. I also like that they make an effort to make a community by doing things like hosting a truck or treat and a Mothers Day Brunch. The teachers and management take the time to get to know each family. I appreciate that they provide lunch (healthy!). When my first daughter graduated from Barnyard and went to Kindergarten, I was 1000% sure she was ready and would excel!

Barnyard has been an incredible experience for our family, and we can’t say enough good things about the team there. Without a doubt, the Barnyard is the one of the top (if not the top) choice for childcare in Boise. Our two children have been their since they were babies (now two and four). The Barnyard excels in a number of areas: - Consistency, care, and training of staff- multiple staff members have told me that after working in other daycares, they STAY at the Barnyard because of the culture, pay/benefits, and administrative support. This translates into better care, better retention and more consistency for children. - Curriculum & extra activities- our kids are TIRED when they come home from Barnyard. The curriculum is strong and incorporates other languages, yoga, swimming lessons, buggy bike rides, and numerous other activities. - Facilities and cleanliness- As a newer facility, the building is perfectly laid out / organized and built just for daycare needs. Care and thought is put into every toy that is purchased and every chair that goes in a classroom. It is clean, bright and secure.

The Barnyard has been a wonderful experience for us. The staff is friendly, caring, and always happy to help. We appreciate that meals and snacks are provided, and that there is always a variety of food options. We are also grateful that swim class is offered. We have always found the teachers to be fun, playful, and engaging with the kids. Our child has always felt safe and comfortable at the Barnyard, and is excited to go to class every day. We have had a very positive experience so far.

We have been sending our children to Barnyard (original Millbrook location) since they opened in 2019, and could not have hoped for a better daycare and preschool experience! Our girls have loved their teachers every year, the staff is caring and kind, the extracurriculars and swim lessons they offer are great, they enjoy the wide variety and yummy food on the breakfast and lunch menu, and the date nights they offer are an added bonus. Our kids learned so much and were more than ready for Kindergarten when the time came. I recommend Barnyard to anyone looking for quality care and early education!
