The Garden is open daily throughout the year, and welcomes pets. The Garden also features a narrated tram tour with admission, which runs April - October and takes guests on a 30-minute narrated ride through the Garden. Established in 2001. The Oregon Association of Nurseries first explored the idea of opening a botanical garden in the 1940's and in 1995 a site in Silverton was selected. The groundbreaking occurred in 1997 and The Oregon Garden officially opened June 29, 2001.see more
