Specialties: Our mission is to create a safe environment where children are free to grow and branch out into their unique selves in the garden of life. Established in 1989. TGFK originated in Fremont in 1989 and continues to serve children ages 0-8 years of age. I joined a child care association (SACCA), and helped establish a child care association, the Association of Professional Child Care Educators (APCCE). I have a Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, my AA in Early Childhood Studies, and am a Mentor Teacher with the Alameda County Regional Program (you will see student teachers here working on their curriculum). I am a past member of the Irvington Business Association. TGFK received accreditation twice, and still follow those practices. I was also awarded Habitot's Preschool Teacher Award in 2012. I expanded TGFK in 2008, and am now serving 12-14 children. I have four employees/assistants, and often exceed state ratios, because I believe in quality of care.
