Specialties: Exciting. Enchanting. Magical. The "something different" you've been looking to do is closer than you might think.
Now is your chance to escape to the past and experience a romantic age lost to time. Cheer for your favorite knight as they battle on the field of honor for your amusement; watch continuous entertainment throughout the day in the streets and on stages; test your skill at archery and other games of skill; shop in one of New England's largest themed artisan marketplaces; feast upon turkey legs and a variety of mouth-watering foods.
There is so much to see and do at the Connecticut Renaissance Faire. Join us for a day of family fun at our new location in North Haven, CT. Costumes are encouraged to enhance your fun, but aren't required. Come as you are or as you wish to be. Established in 1999. Time passes and we find ourselves opening the gates to our own Renaissance Faire in 1999 at the King's Inn in Putnam, Connecticut. The show was small with only two stages, a dozen or so enthusiastic performers, some games, a handful of merchants, and a lot of hope. This was an experience we wanted to be able to share with our own children as well as families from around New England.
Despite passing showers and the looming threat of rain all weekend, the crowds wanted to see what the fuss was all about. They were excited and, like us when we were younger, looked forward to returning to the show.
Since the King's Inn, the Connecticut Renaissance Faire has become a large, regional event that has run at several different locations including the Brooklyn Fairgrounds, Woodstock Fairgrounds, Hebron Fairgrounds and even right next to Dodd Stadium in Norwich. Join us now at our new location in North Haven, CT!
