We decided to instal solar right before the federal credits ended. From the initial consultation with Laura (My Solar Lady) the process was smooth. The price was the price all the way through and there were no surprises with additional fees or add-ons. They literally did every single step with the financing, design, HECO and permits and we hardly had to be at the house in order to get it installed. We were installed about three weeks before estimated. There actually was a little bit of issue with some of the panels once it was installed, but they came right back out and fixed it up and worked on it diligently until it was resolved so in my book that is A+ service or in Google speak five stars!

Good install. Great team. I really like sunspear and would use them again 100% but beware of the tesla software. The software has had a small handful of weird issues. The most recent, it listed somebody else's house on my software to control. I think someone else might have had control of mine but I certainly didn't have any control over my own house. Now, sunspear replied to me to address the issue in less than a day. They are on it.But it took between 4-5 days before it actually got fixed. The issue involved working with tesla and isnt a quick fix. This was especially troublesome because I was out of the country and had no way of controlling my own house. I appreciate sunspear basically tried to do what they could do based on what they control ASAP, but I find it worrying that this takes so long to fix. Working with Sunspear Energy was fantastic. We are saving money every month and feeling good about doing it. Marko was particularly helpful. He even provided information to my accountant after the installation was complete to make sure I received the proper tax credit. Excellent customer service, highly recommend. Just updating my review. I had a problem with one of my panels and it stopped producing power. Nick Lee and Orion came over and fixed it quickly. Their excellent service was much appreciated.

Nicholas and Zack from Sunspear did an outstanding job replacing an inverter for one of my solar panels that had been down for about six months. They were thorough, efficient, and made sure everything was reporting correctly to my Enphase app before they left. What really impressed me was how responsive and accommodating they were. They were actually working on a neighbor’s solar system when I asked if they could schedule a time to look at mine. Even though I wasn’t on their schedule, they offered to stop by after finishing that job — and they did! About an hour and a half later, they came over, assessed the issue, and since I already had the replacement inverter, they said, “We’re here — we can knock this out for you.” They took care of it right then and there. Our home PV system consists of both Tesla and SolarEdge equipment. We switched over to Sunspear Energy with complete confidence. Not only does Sunspear Energy maintain certifications for Tesla and SolarEdge equipment, but they are also recognized by Tesla as a "Premier Installer". Our transition to Sunspear Energy began with Ginger, their scheduling assistant, who completed our intake and created a service ticket for us. Sunspear Energy provided outstanding service installing a solar PV system on my house. I had several estimates to install solar on my house and went with Sunspear because they offered a very competitive price and they were more knowledgeable and professional than the other companies that provided estimates. Laura Poirier was particularly helpful sizing the system based on my needs, explaining all the steps in my process, discussing financing options and answering all of my questions. Everyone else I dealt with at Sunspear met the same high standards that Laura set for professionalism and friendliness. Sunspear did a great job installing the system in a timely manner and handled all the required permits with HECO and City and County. My new PV system is producing the amount of electrical Power that Laura said it would and my HECO bill is the minimum connection fee. Working with Ginger & Ann prior to the actual work has been great. Today, Orion & Reichel were extremely professional, prompt, quick & thorough.
