Studio Kho was established in June 2020 by Vera Melissa Photography. Vera is a first-generation Cambodian American who came from immigrant parents and established themself in America back in the 70s from the Khmer Genocide. The name Kho came from her father who passed away in 2019 due to significant health factors. His life was filled with creativity and he loved the arts. Therefore, Vera honored his life with a studio for creators to create.
