Built as a luxurious bed and breakfast that would be perceived more as a boutique hotel because of the quality of its guest and public area appointments. While the original owners were from Virginia, they loved the unspoiled beauty of Vermont and felt that Stowe Vermont's reputation as an upscale vacation destination would be prefect for this new breed of Bed and Breakfast. We purchased the inn from these folks in October 2011. Since we have continued to upgrade all of the guest and public room appointments and have established the Mission of Stone Hill Inn as "providing unexpected opportunities to celebrate life together."
