Specialties: The Outdoor Adventure Center was established in 2003 as a permanent home for Southeast Exposure. The 5-acre property includes waterfront sea kayaking from a floating 80ft dock, and a full Ropes and Zipline park with 50 ft Climbing Tower. From OAC depart on an original kayak adventure, Tatoosh Island Kayak, or take the more local paddle Eagle island. Walk into the Zipline Park and look up guides sending new zipliners down the line, zip away. Bike tours leave from Southeast Exposure, and bike rentals are also available in downtown Ketchikan. Established in 1986. We started Southeast Exposure back in 1986 from our home in Thomas Basin in Ketchikan. Many miles and trips later we find ourselves in a new home 14 miles out of town on 5 acres of tidelands and land. Our Outdoor Adventure Center is located in beautiul Clover Pass, just beyond Knudson Cove on Potter Rd. We have built a composting toilet facility, big dock, ramp, and a parking area. Our guides now live here on site.
Over the years we have picked up experience and more qualifications and we are still avid sea kayakers. We enjoy showing our guests around this beautiful area. On a typical day you will find Betsey at our bike rental location at 1224 Tongass, or driving one of our powerboats or guiding Eagle Island Kayak trips.. ...and Jarad with a group of zippers on site at Potter Road.
