About Sonoita Vineyards
The oldest commercial vineyard and winery in Arizona, Sonoita Vineyards was started in 1974, opened in 1983 and now includes over 30 acres of vines. Aided by the unique growing conditions of the Sonoita Appellation (AVA - American Viticultural Area), the winery consistently creates award winning wines, including a Cabernet Sauvignon chosen by national wine critics to serve at a Presidential Inauguration Gala. Perched at an elevation of 5,000 feet among rolling grasslands, the vineyard is surrounded on three sides by soaring mountain ranges. The staff is small making each vintage of wine a one of a kind experience. The small staff does all the production and Vine care unde the guidance of Lori Reynolds and Robi Reynolds.

We loved our tasting experience at Sonoita Vineyards. We’ve been able to visit 10 wineries in the area so far, and Sonoita Vineyards has the best wines! Their grounds are beautiful. Love being able to go into the barrel room! Very cool. All around great experience. Will definitely visit again when in the area!

Went for my Birthday. The wine was amazing I especially enjoyed the sweet wines. The views are breath taking and the staff was so friendly and amazing. I loved the back room with the barrels just adds to the charm. I also got a wine glass as a cute souvenir. If your looking for good wine away from everything else with an open country veiw then I highly recommend this place.
