In 1952, brothers Clinton Lamar "Chuckie" Smith and Garnet Lewis Smith bought a family business, Castle's Automotive, from their uncle. They changed the name to Smith Brothers Automovitve Repair and a successful automotive repair shop was born. Over the years they decided to specialize in collision repair and changed the name to Smith Brothers Body Shop. In the 1980's both of the brothers sold their shares of the business to their sons, Chuck and Dan Smith. The young men realized that hard work and treating people like family would be the keys to their success. That work ethic and strong customer service combined with excellent auto body repair have been the backbone of their business.
