Art is a natural form of communication and it's sometimes easier to express feeling visually rather than verbally. The Arts are also an excellent discipline to build and utilize critical thinking skills.Often when viewing art we don't give credit to the conceptual and interpretational thinking that goes into the creation of a piece of art on all skill levels Sketchbook Studio specializes in working with children and adults with unique challenges and all programs are fully inclusive. Sketchbook Studio provides lots of fun and creative energy always remembering Arts are for ALL.We now offer Paint Pallets and Pinot Night, please inquire with Meg Established in 2012. Meg decided to set her sights on a position teaching students with disabilities. For the last seven years Meg has taught both typical students and students with special needs whose disabilities run the gamut from Asperger's Syndrome, to ADHD, to students with intellectual and emotional challenges.
Meg has now returned home to the south shore of Long Island to pursue her dream of her own art studio; to continue her own work in mixed media; and sharing her passion for the arts with students (artists) of all ages believing that ARTS are for all.
