I've used Sixt multiple locations even in Germany and always really happy with vehicles and interactions with staff. They have the best fleet and competitive prices. The employees were helpful and not pushy. The X5 was awesome. However, I inspected the vehicle prior to accepting it, and every exterior panel of the vehicle had some damage, scratches, abrasions, front, rear, sides- literally the whole vehicle. I took many photos and a video prior to accepting vehicle and they have been noted on the app but I was concerned they may they may hold me liable for something that was on it prior- I did turn in vehicle and was not charged for damages present on vehicle prior to my use, so I was happy with my experience and will continue to use sixt on future rentals.

I had planned a trip to Honolulu and booked a reservation with a rental car company that was not located at the airport. When I went to the rental car area I asked a representative at Enterprise if they knew where the company was located, their response was google it! So I walked into SIXT and was kindly greeted by Claire. I explained my situation and she immediately found me the perfect vehicle. She was so professional and efficient. I honestly had never really heard about SIXT but was pleasantly surprised. She processed my transaction with ease and calmness but extremely fast! It felt like a few minutes and she had me on my way. She apologized for the other company’s response and was just a breathe of fresh air. Our vehicle was clean and the process for pick up was super fast! Great customer service all the way around! I will definitely be renting from SIXT in the future.

Sixt Car Rental Honolulu Airport was a great experience from start to finish. The staff was friendly and professional, the pricing was affordable, and the car was clean and very well maintained. I recently had my first experience renting with Sixt, and I can honestly say it was a total game-changer! From start to finish, the process was incredibly smooth and professional. I arrived earlier than expected, and Dane at the front counter was absolutely wonderful—he was super friendly and went out of his way to accommodate my early arrival, getting me into a fantastic car right away. He took the time to explain everything clearly, making the whole transaction feel simple and stress-free. I’ve used many of the other major car rental brands in the past, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had to date. This is a new company and they're very friendly they have great prices and the car that are rented was an excellent shape. The counter agent help me with an upgrade and the return agent Tony (I think) was also super helpful in polite. I would definitely recommend renting from these guys..

Rented a car there for 3 days during my short trip to Honolulu (wish it was longer :)) Everything was fine, except that the vehicle that was offered in the booked category (Full Size) - BMW 330 - was only one option and a bit tired, but generally was good. The check-in and check-out process was flawless - the service is great. The price was reasonable, especially comparing other car-rents there )) Keep doing a good job! Will definitely come back and recommend to my friends!

Even though we arrived late, the experience started on such a positive note. The person at the counter (who I believe may have been the branch manager) greeted us with great energy and went above and beyond by taking the time to write down personal restaurant recommendations for us — such a thoughtful touch that really set the tone for our trip. He also assigned us a fantastic car that we genuinely enjoyed driving throughout our stay. At one point, the car notified us that it needed service, so we brought it back to Sixt. The team handled the situation incredibly smoothly and efficiently. Jeannine, in particular, was so helpful — she made the process easy and, when the replacement car didn’t support Apple CarPlay in the way we expected, she proactively reassigned us to an even better car to make sure everything worked out. Our experience at Sixt was truly exceptional. The agent that helped us get into the vehicle and get all of our documents squared away, Fred, made us feel incredibly comfortable and cared for as first time customers. He was even able to help us discuss upgrade options for our stay, which made a huge difference in the quality of our trip. Going in we felt nervous and like we would be pushed to pay for all this stuff we didn’t need, but Fred made it feel inviting and was open and transparent through the whole process. This experience has definitely made me eager to use Sixt again for any of our following trips!

Edited: Customer service was friendly, and I felt the line was short and went fast when we arrived on a Saturday afternoon. I had an issue after having the bill emailed to me. I felt I was overcharged for the booster seat rental for my 7-year old. I emailed customer service upon the recommendation in the response below, and I was refunded. So they are responsive and willing to make things right. We rented a black Mustang convertible for a week. It was nice to be able to freely visit the entire island. The car had 20,000 miles on it, and considering it's a rental, don't expect pristine condition, but the car had no issues. We got the cheapest insurance added on, which only covers the vehicle. We noticed some dings and scratches already on the car, but these were already documented when we checked the app.

Upon arrival at the SIXT counter, we were warmly greeted by Mr. Fred, whose friendly smile and welcoming demeanor immediately put us at ease. He went above and beyond to upgrade us to a luxury vehicle at a price we were more than happy with. As it was our first time visiting Hawaii, Mr. Fred kindly shared some great local tips and suggestions to help us make the most of our stay. A few days into our trip, we encountered a minor issue with the vehicle. However, the team handled it swiftly and professionally, providing a replacement with no hassle or delay. Thanks to SIXT and especially Mr. Fred, we had a wonderful time exploring the island in comfort and style. I can not thank the team at this location for what they were able to do for my partner and I while we were visiting Oahu for my birthday. Nicole at the check-in counter was absolutely amazing and kind! She was able to get us my dream car (Jeep) which made this trip all the more special! Getting to cruise around the island in a Jeep was a thing of dreams! As if it couldn't get any better - when we went to pick up the keys - Genine (apologize for the spelling as I am sure it is probably wrong!) Spent some time with us and told us some must see locations and hidden gems around the island! Her recommendations did not disappoint. The Jeep was beautiful, clean, low kilometers, fun to drive, and overall just a dream come true! Thank you for these two girls who made what was already a beautiful trip into an dream come true!!

This was a great experience for renting our car for 8 days. The car we initially rented was not available, but they gave us an even better and newer car. The process of reserving our car was super easy online, you just had to pick the car you wanted and check the dates and pricing. When we arrived at the airport, we just had to pick up our keys and we received our car. It was a super fast process and we were able to get it all done in 10minutes. Returning our car was also super easy, we just had an inspector check the car before we returned it, took some notes, and that was it. Highly recommend this car rental if you are in Oahu!

Rented a Mustang convertible from Sixth and wow – what an experience! The car was basically brand new (only 2,000 km!) and an absolute rocket to drive. The price was unbeatable, pick-up and drop-off were super quick, and the team was super friendly and helpful!! Had the easiest best experience at Sixt Honolulu Airport location. Jeanine was so sweet and friendly and very helpful with I picked up my car. The car I originally reserved wasn’t available so I had a couple of choices to choose from, no big deal I understand sometimes these things happen. I had the car for 24 hours and hated it! I went back to exchange the car and Keanu was kind and understanding! Never made me feel like I was asking for too much and reassured me that they would take care of it. Keanu and Jeanine worked together to secure me the car I wanted. The whole experience was so seamless and I was out of there with the car I wanted in less than 7 minutes!!! Thank you so much to Jeanine and Keanu for being so awesome and assisting me with my rental experience!
