Brought my first quilt to Sew Jersey to be sent out for quilting last month. Not only did I receive it back earlier than expected, but the quilting is perfect, makes my quilt look like a masterpiece. I am very, very satisfied with their service! Love shopping here as well, selection of fabrics is insane and there are plenty of instructions, books and magazines with great info to pick from as well. Staff is totally knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Not to be missed if you know your way around a sewing machine.

My experience with Sew Jersey was TERRIFIC! Thanks to Katherine and Greg! I had an old sewing machine that had been in my garage for 36 years and was in awful condition, but with fingers crossed, I cleaned it up and took it to the Paramus store. Katherine was fantastic, listening to my hopes while giving me realistic information about what to expect. Then I saw a perfect machine for sale that Greg had restored. Not knowing what to do, Katherine made it possible for me to sleep on it and talk to my sister. The next day, I went back to the store where I got the chance to talk to Greg as he analyzed my machine. In the end, the repairs were too extensive, but I'm the proud owner of the machine he restored that I saw the previous day. Thanks to Katherine and Greg, I was able to make an informed decision and one that will serve me well. I have now recommended the store to my sister and a good friend. They will not be disappointed! Thank you from a very happy and loyal new customer!

Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff. I purchased an embroidery machine, fabric, notions from and took a few classes here as well. This is the only place that I bring my machines for service and they are serviced on premises, and are honest & upfront about repairs, parts and costs- no nasty surprises, ever.I'm so glad we have this place!

My wife's Pfaff Sewing Machine needed service, which other stores or repair services seemingly couldn't commit to. Based on a recommendation from a local fabric store, we went to Sew Jersey. We dropped the unit off in Hanover and just over a week later it was serviced and adjusted. Now it runs like new. My wife is very happy. The cost was very reasonable and the folks we worked with were great. Highly recommended.

Incredibly nice local business with beautiful patterns! The store had several customers when I walked in, but they made time to say hi and advise me on my project. Huge colorful quilts hung on the wall and there was a beautiful selection of cotton fabrics. Sadly they didn't have the type of fabric I was looking for, but the employee I spoke to advised me a couple of other businesses to try, both local and chain stores. Even though they didn't have my specific request, I got a great vibe from this place. I suggest giving it a try if you need cute patterned cotton type fabric, especially for quilting!

Very knowledgeable staff has helped me with any questions about any project I'm working on. My machine was repaired in a timely manner and works like new again! The selection of machines is incredible and they always have exactly what I need, if they don't, they are more than happy to get it for me. My next machine will definitely be from this store! Highly recommended for all of your crafting needs!!!

The family that runs this store is absolutely enchanting. You can tell they love what the do and strive to make your shopping experience delightful. I might not have made a purchase if they hadn't been so friendly. As for the store itself... it was very nice. They carry good quality fabrics, tools, patterns. If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to go here again.

Was in town just visiting family, and they recommended we stop by this shop to ask for advice since I’ve been having trouble with a vintage sewing machine and have no repair shops near me back home. Their repair technician looked at the videos I had of my machine’s issues and very kindly took the time to explain the most likely problem and gave advice on how I could try to fix it. I got back home and was able to get it running smoothly again, great customer service & generous to help me out with this! Id be a regular customer if I was local, so I hope this review offers a little support instead. Took a quick look at their fabric selection while I was there, good variety and good quality :)

The Sew Jersey Quilting store in East Hanover was a very positive experience. I was greeted by the owner in a very welcoming manner. The store has many available sewing machines. The fabric collection is special and very good quality. There are many quilting notions and thread that you may need. They provide long arm quilting services. There are many classes available upstairs. The owner was willing to help bring the sewing machine from my car to the store because I’m disabled and unable to pick it up. I own a Vesta Babylock machine that I love. I received incorrect information from several resources for my embroidery system and my machine jammed.The gentleman, Skip, who is an expert in dealing with the repairs called me on the phone and discussed what needed to be done to fix my machine. When I arrived at the store he greeted me and explained exactly what went wrong and how to manage in the future without problems. I went to Sew Jersey for their long arm quilting services. I had tried emailing first (no response) but ended up going to the store in person. It’s a nice little shop with a good assortment of sewing related items and about half was set up as a sewing classroom. The staff were knowledgeable, communicated clearly, and willing to help when I arrived. My small quilt got free form quilting done and my large one got a standard long arm quilting pattern sewn onto it. I knew it would take awhile and after dropping my quilts off they were ready for pickup about 3 months later so plan accordingly. I’m not that close for regular shopping but I’m glad they’re within driving distance for their quilting services. I would recommend this shop!
