Our handy recipe cards at the store and recipes on-line assist customers who enjoy food and who express their love of living through cooking. We provide excellent customer service, no matter whether the customer is a first time buyer or a long-time friend. Established in 2011. Savory Spice Shop is a Colorado company started in 2004 by Mike and Janet Johnston. The first store opened on Platte St. in Lower Downtown Denver and grew to encompass locations in Littleton, Boulder and in Lowry. In 2009, the founders made the decision to franchise the concept and Savory Spice Shop opened in Colorado Springs. In 2011, Susan Kirkpatrick, a former Mayor of Fort Collins, opened the Fort Collins Savory Spice Shop to bring the experience she had enjoyed in Denver to Northern Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Western Nebraska.
