Richard Boyd Art Gallery is open to all ages free of charge. During the months of April through October the gallery is open between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily. From November through the end of March the gallery is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Additional days and times by chance or scheduled by appointment. Established in 2006. Richard Boyd Art Gallery is owned and operated by Richard F Boyd a retired Nurse Anesthetist and his wife Pamela Williamson a retired business woman.
In the mid 1990's Rick had a two story commercial building built at the front of his property. Upon completion, he moved his studio to the top floor. The ground or first floor was used for a variety of things until 2006 when Rick and Pam turned it into a "very rough make shift gallery".
In 2011 the gallery went through a major renovation, re-opening in 2012. Since the grand re-opening, with few exceptions they have presented an exhibition of fine arts every month. Shows vary from solo, to group and theme exhibits, so clients and visitors always discover something new and exciting when they visit the gallery.
The gallery exhibits original paintings, limited edition bronze sculptures, and a select offering of works in glass and works in clay.
